Jody is originally from South Dakota and moved to Gold Canyon in 1997 when she had a dream to build a Super 8 Motel. Jody was a partner and Director of Operations for the Super 8 Motel in Apache Junction. Jody brought with her 23 years of experience in rental properties and commercial and rental development.
Jody currently spends part of her time managing the Quail Creek Condominiums in Apache Junction, where she sells the units plus rents them for the winter season, or on a short or long-term basis.
Jody has always been a very active member of the communities where she has lived. In South Dakota, she was on the Fair Board, Community Concert Board, Humane Society Board and Chamber of Commerce Board. Jody was also 1997-1998 South Dakota Snow Queen Chairman and Volunteered to work most events that were held in Aberdeen. She was named 1998 Citizen of the Year. She is also active in the Apache Junction Chamber of Commerce and is on the D.A.R.E board.
Jody’s interest in real estate first began in 1992 when she completed her Real Estate classes at the University of South Dakota. In 2003, she became a licensed Real Estate Agent in Arizona. That same year, Jody joined the Lake Realty family of agents. Jody chose Lake Realty because "I wanted to work for an organization that had a strong philosophy of providing quality and personalized service".
